What do you do before going out to eat? Before buying a new book? When looking for the perfect gift, or reading movie reviews? You open your computer screen, click on Safari or Internet Explorer and search it. The amount of information available can be overwhelming and these multiple search engines are here to act as a filter and provide you with relevant information.

Have you noticed when shopping online, looking for tickets to a concert, or browsing your favorite blog, pretty much anywhere on the Internet you can now “Like” what you viewing.  I remember looking at this and wondering what is the point? How does this benefit me?
Facebook has now partnered with Bing making it possible to see whether your friends have “Liked” what you are searching at that moment. Some of our most reliable sources are our friends. We believe recommendations above practically anything else. Instead of searching your friend’s profile and memorizing their favorite movies, books, or music, Facebook and Bing have made it possible to bring this information to you.

Start “Liking” and connecting

Simply visit Bing enter your search into the bar and if your friends have liked it their Facebook picture will appear. This can also be used in the when searching Facebook through the web results tab.

This feature will expand as you and your friends begin pressing the Like button throughout the Internet. So get out there, Like what you love and share it with your friends with a click of the mouse.
