The 5 iPad Apps We Recommend

Apple announced that there are now 100,000 applications available for the iPad in the iTunes store.  You can get everything from entertaining games to financial advice right from your iPad.  Even though the iTunes application store has recommendations for the top iPad apps, we do not always agree.  These are the top iPad apps that we recommend for every iPad owner.

Flipboard: (Free) Flipboard is a social media lovers dream!  This free application allows the downloader to access all of the top news off of different social media sites all in one place.  Facebook, Twitter, Flickr, and E! Online are just a few of the common windows that users place on their “board”.  This is a must have for anyone who accesses their Facebook, Flickr, or news sites on a daily basis.

Netflix: (Free)  If you are already a Netflix subscriber, you know that it is the best place to find new releases, classic movies and TV shows, without having to hop in the care to rent them.  Now, the iPad allows you to watch all of the instant movies you want on the go!  The application opens up all of the instant movies and shows that are available, just like opening it on your Xbox or computer.

Fruit Ninja HD: ($2.99) If you have ever played this game before, you know it is just as addicting as Angry Birds.  Although the concept of the game, slicing fruit like a ninja seems like it would get boring after awhile, believe us, you can play for hours and hours on end.  There are different categories to play such as classic and timed, as well as an arcade mode to play against your friends.

Dropbox: (Free) Dropbox is an application that lets you take everything that is important to you wherever you go.  Photos, videos and even documents can be “dropped” into the application from syncing your iPad or from the website.  This lets you have access to all of those important work documents while out to dinner with your boss and his wife, or let you know everyone in your family the photos from your trip to Mexico without having to bring your whole computer.

Talking Tom: (Free) This is the new and revamped Talk Tom Cat, where there is now a dog you are able to use to annoy Tom.  Ben the Dog does everything from pop a paper bag behind Tom to start a pillow fight with him.  Tom will still pass out when you hit him and will still repeat everything you say is his extra funny voice that will keep you laughing for hours.
